Polomolok, South Cotabato also know as the home of the tastiest durian “the king of all fruits” that smells like hell but taste like heaven.It is also a perfect place for someone who wants to commune with nature. With today's hurried lifestyle, one would be give anything for some room to breathe.
Durian Garden, Atbp. gives the proper handling of durian fruits and trees that give the taste different interspersed others. It maintained regularly by about a dozen workers. It has about 300 trees of different varieties like: Montong, Puyat, Arancillo, Chanee, and more. 250 of each are fruit bearing.
Durian Garden, Atbp. is different from other durian farm because it harvests a year-around and durian trees yields an average of 40-50 fruits or an annual farm harvest of 10,000 pieces. Each fruits are sold P50.00 per kilo (kg) with the weighing of 4-5 kg each.
The durian orchard also speckled with Pomelo, Lanzones and Rambutan trees that interspersed with flowering ornamental plants and a sanctuary where one can unwind and bask in the warmth of Nature, a blue skies, a patch of green grass, a kaleidoscope of luscious fruits, birds and cassowary roaming around and a virtual small paradise that have the right perfect food for the eyes and soul.
